Who owns the files?
Modelling and manufacturing files (CAD, technical optimisations) remain the property of Osmoz 3D, in line with our terms and conditions: the transfer of design rights is not included by default in our services.
Why do we work this way?
This allows us to keep costs under control while delivering technically complete services. For most projects, a full transfer of rights is neither necessary nor relevant given how the files are actually used.
Transferring the rights, an option
The transfer of rights can be offered, with a specific quote, depending on:
- The intended use (internal, manufacturing, commercialisation)
- The volumes envisaged
- The scope of exploitation
- The duration and territory of use
